"Best Plays" has been described as "one of those artsy hour-long stage play adaptation anthologies like THEATRE GUILD and ARTHUR HOPKINS PRESENTS." Or Lux Radio Theatre for that matter. Definitely the kind of show that no longer fits into the broadcast schedule on radio or TV, and perhaps the more intereting for that.
